All things considered, I'm not read up enough on homo fungiens physiology to know if Toad even had a spleen, so I must admit to generalizing from experience. That said, look, more plot!

IN ANY EVENT, I am happy to say that I have a working laptop and can effectively resume work on the comic. My hard drive's status is still up in the air, but I will be looking in to that presently. Catching up to where I should be will be slow going, but here's something for those of you dying to know what happens next.

I'm sure anything capable of feeling pain has a spleen. It's one of those universal truths, like taxes and never being able to get a decent cup of tea.

Ha! I hear that. But I've always been more of a coffee man, myself.
8th Sep 2016, 9:14 AM you need me to help you find the font you had before, that you were using for the titles of past comics? It just so happens that I'm friends with the guy who made the font, so if you need a link to it, just let me know! But in case you're wondering, the font can be found here:

Hope this helps!

Oh, and...why is the title of each comic page in color for the past few pages? Did you forget to turn it to grayscale or something?

The plot thickens, we get our first look at the main villain! But who is that? I don't even recognize him. He must be from one of the M&L games, which I've not played any of. Wait a minute...that's not the guy from Wario Land 4, is it? The Detective guy who is actually one of Wario's allies, if my sources are to believed?

Thank you so much for finding that for me. I've actually been deliberately keeping it in color as a personal preference, to draw the eye straight to the title first (I've been meandering in the direction of a site redesign without the banner on top, because it's redundant and draws attention away from the comic). Since the banner-version of "Cleanup Crew" doesn't translate to a straight line very well, I started experimenting with that messier version on the image itself. I may be experimenting for a while.

I try not to create things in color and then just convey them to grayscale, since that just seems cheap to me. That's why I adopted the four-color black and white style a while back.

Oh, very close! I'd love to tell you, but I don't want to spoil anything preemptively. Please bear with me in the meantime.

According to TV Tropes, you're referring to "Dr. Arewo Stein" something of a cameo, "from the Japan-only game For The Frog The Bell Tolls"

I feel like I should recognise that guy myself but it's not coming to me.
